What I find strange is when you overtake two trucks with the rear one tailgating, they seem to drop back for some reason, no idea why but it happens a lot.
Are they feeling guilty because some one has seen them doing it?Maybe you don’t look safe?

When Im Driving my car I love tailgaters on the bypasses & motorways.
Closer they sit the more they ■■■■ themselves when I drop from 80-90 to 40-50 in a few tens of yards. And if they hit me and I don’t roll over & survive they gonna get the evilest kickin they have ever experienced followed up by months in court while I take them to the cleaners.
Normally shirt boys who are the main culprits, ■■■■■■■ pretty boys.

Why shouldn’t I moan about it? The car in front could have been a nervous driver and possibly frightened. Why should these bullies get away with it? The advice from the Police is to slow down a bit to show that you are in control of your speed (and not the tailgater trying to push you along). I have tried it a few times and it usually works, but on this ocassion the driver was too stupid to take the hint.
Let me guess sales reps in Audi’s if there not tailgating they are undertaking before you have a chance of moving over out of the way.

I do move out of the way where possible. Quite a few times I’ve emergency stopped though it’s funny as ■■■■. One fat sweaty shirt boy in a bora nearly smacked central reservation because there was a guy on the road, and him being far too close ment he couldn’t react to my braking safely. (If I wasn’t overtaking a line of vehicles at the time I would have let him past, but him sitting up my arse was too much)

Next time you are getting tailgated use left foot on the brake just enough for your brake lights to come on while using the right on the gas peddle. Works wonders

Left foot braking works vs. some bad drivers too. A lot of people don’t fall for it though, well not as much as they used to IMO.

Is there any need to winge about it on here ? Yes it’s dangerous and i’m sure this Honda driver now hates all lorry drivers but it’s pretty much an everyday event.Of course it should be mentioned on here and everywhere else.These big bullies are the ones that take innocent lives when it all goes wrong.
There are far too many on our roads these days and until they can be prosecuted by camera they should be named and ashamed anyway possible.
Some drivers like to have a good reputation and these idiots tar us all with the same brush.

To the Europarts rigid on the A5 near Crick truck stop 08:00 today, why did you find it necessary to be so close to the Honda Accord in front of you?(about a car’s length) I was behind Stobart truck doing 40mph, and quite obviously not in a position to go any faster. Just wondering if it is the same Muppet that cut me off one night on M25 pulling sharply 1.5 m in front
