Right, I’ve always wondered but never asked why trucks are spec’ d with one or the other. There must be pros and cons for each configuration but I can’t work it out in my head.

Ah, missed that post. Cheers. It does seem that the lads that go off road as I do (building sites) prefer tag axles. So if I get my way and our new outfits are artics next year I should try suggesting tags not mid lifts. The guy that specs the fleet wants us on draw bars but I’m not keen.
