Nothing. You do not have to account for the missing mileage. If the authorities wish to find out then they request, from your TM, all the cards pertaining to that vehicle.
If you are at work but not driving you still need to fill a tacho in stateing other work and the hours you work if these are rest days then you don’t need anything but when i worked for a well known catalouge shop i had to do tacho’s for rest days and hand those in as normal just put the date on card and wrote rest day on front

Don’t bother about it, it’s not your responsibility to account for the mileage when someone else is driving the vehicle, if you get stopped and are queried about the mileage just tell them that someone else drives the vehicle also, it happens all the time in fact the vehicle I drive is driven by someone else on nights.

We used to carry photocopies of the tachos used by the guys who drove our trucks at night and the French where happy with them when it came to the missing kilometre between our charts, well any time I encountered a control they were. There is an activity conformation form to cover holidays or extended periods when you cannot produce records but that doesn’t really fit the bill here. An example is below if you need one of those in the future.
