Just wondering if any one has any ideas on this.
on a booklet that I was given by my company, regarding drivers hours and tacho training it states that an enforcement officer must bring prosecution within 6 months of the date of any offence.
Ive been hunting around on the net, and cant seem to find any info, about this one. any comments appreciated.

The six month Statue Time Bar exists for drivers hours offences, overloads and a few others. It does not mean that you have to appear in Court within the six months of the offence. Rather that Information has to be laid before the Court before the six months is up.
The six month limit doesn’t apply to false records / fraudulent records, here the Stat Bar is 2 years.
