How many discrepancies are you allowed on a tachogragh chart, mistaken date, misspelling
Bad Maths etc.are you actually allowed any ,I would have thought that your not ,any thoughts .

Well I doubt you would get done for misspelling unless the misspelling was serious, like you started a shift in London and spelt it Birmingham :stuck_out_tongue:

Bad math ? most people would advise you not to complete the total mileage as I believe it’s an offence to put the wrong total mileage, and as the total is optional there’s not much point in doing it.

I imagine the wrong date would definitely be frowned upon as it’s tantamount to fraud, I suppose if you worked nights and put the correct start date and then put the same date for finishing the shift even though you finished after midnight it wouldn’t be so serious as it’s an obvious mistake.

To answer your question I don’t think you’re legally allowed any discrepancies as such, but I think minor ones would get you no more than a verbal warning or a friendly bit of advise from a VOSA bod.

Thanks tachogragh ,common sence then .

frisbees are left Intentionaly blank! Oops :grimacing: :grimacing: :grimacing:

If you spell “your” name wrong, that is a bit of a give away

I seem to think that geebee45 put the miscalculation rumour to rest and said it would be treated simply as a mistake.

Wrong date could be frowned upon as could the clock being 12 hours out

I must have missed that post, I hope you’re right though because to get done for something so trivial really would be taking the ■■■■
