TACHODISC - A big thank you

This thread could also be called : “What a knob I am”

I booked myself on a dCPC course with Tachodisc for the 15th Jan. Convincing myself the 15th of Jan was Wednesday I laid plans out to have Wednesday off. Anyway, I couldn’t get any work today which doesn’t worry me as I will do Thursday right the way through the weekend and at least I’ve had my weekend off. I put the computer on this morning and low and behold there’s todays date in the bottom corner, cue the panic to open my emails from last week. Anyway, I’ve got the date wrong, I should have been on the course today. I rang Tachodisc up to explain and hows this for good will ! I explained I’m just a driver and work for myself and the girl said she would speak with her manager. She came back to me and have waived all transfer fees, I’m now on a course on Thursday. Not the one I wanted to do but I only have myself to blame for that. So I would like to publically say thanks to Vikki @ Tachodisc and also her manager. I know they sponsor on TNUK but as they were nice to me (despite my terrible organisation) I thought it would be nice to say something nice on here about them.

No just self employed on the agency at he moment ROG, all that’s happened is that I’ve now done myself out of work for Thursday !!!

ROG, she offered me Thursday or anyone of 2 from next week, I told her Thursday at least I wont have as much time to get confused !!! :laughing:

Nice to read something positive for a change. :smiley: It might not have been yhe most difficult thing for them to do, but they could have still gone by the book and charged you.
A bit like the copper on the A11 last night he drove down the Q of traffic stopping at each vehicle to say it would be cleared in about 10 minutes. Not a difficult thing to do, but still nice of him to take the time to inform us.
