tacho records

Hi

Probably a stupid question however…

How do you guys keep records for yourself of what your tacho says…

having trouble with getting into a system of some sort, don’t want to get in a mess,
is there a way of reading all the data off the card so i have a copy and can see it like a spreadsheet or something

Any help or advice much appreciated

No I don’t. I keep half decent records of hours worked and breaks taken which is more to ensure I get paid what I’m due.
If you’re struggling do a print out at the end of each day.
Don’t know about any spreadsheets, just add up your hours in a diary.
And…relax

Trucker timer is a great app, as long as you use it right, it will use gps to change to driving or other work and you only have to manually select POA or Rest. It shows you when you need WTD breaks or driving breaks, it also show you how many driving hours/working hours you have left as well, you can also emailit as a CSV file which will open in Excel.

Otherwise if your company uses Tachomaster thy can give you a login to see what days you worked, hours you drove etc. Useful but I find trucker timer is better as it records more information.

Trucker timer costs a few quid but worth it in my opinion.

Many Thanks guys, i will try the app

Cheers
