Tacho question.

Just out of interest really.

Tomorrow my job is to run back to the yard, jump into a hire motor and go and dehire it. My question is do I need my tacho in? The reason I ask is because I know a tacho is not needed when delivering vehicles, but when taking them back is that the same?

I’m going to put my card in anyway as I’m off next week so breaks etc are not an issue. But I was just idly thinking about it.

De hireing a motor is still work and needs to be accounted for. So yes I would put in a tacho.
