When you put a new tacho disc in is there any way of knowing if it is not in properly.I had one the other day that when I took it out it had only recorded part of the days drive,I had to fill the rest in on the back. Thanks.
There is usually a small light on the front of the unit of it is the old style flip open type which lights up if there is a problem. On these units there is also a small circle through which you can see something rotating slowly, if it isn’t rotating there is a problem. On the drawer type units you usually get either an exclamation point type warning on the display or a ‘T’ symbol lights up on the dash.
