Hi guys,

I am due to start a job in multi-drop delivery and have a question re tacho.

As soon as I arrive at the warehouse I guess I should start loading the truck.

How do I register this ‘other work’ in the tacho disc as some tachographs won’t register anything before I switch the engine on. Does this question make sense ?

First thing you do when you get to the truck is either insert your digi card or a chart into the tacho. You would then change the mode switch to other work, crossed hammers, to record other work while you do the vehicle checks and load the truck. Th engine does not have to be running for the tacho to record other work, break or POA.
