Hi,
Overspeed started flashing on the motorway, definitely wasn’t speeding.
It then started flashing up every 30 seconds or so.
It has then stayed on even when off the motorway, crawling through town.
Still showing now even when stationary.
Assuming it’s a faulty tacho?
Any ideas, do I just carry on and ignore it?
Just press ok and it will clear

You have to clear it while it’s flashing overspeed.

Unless you work for a supermarket or any place that has a jobsworth working there then they make it seem like the end of the world.

In my Merc rigid or Tractor unit he would have run out of paper for me to sign
now in my 52mph MAN I may get one a month 
As soon as the speedo reads 91kph+ I start counting 1,2,3 etc when the count gets to 15 I start slowing it down to get it under 90

It was a weird one, wouldn’t clear all day, kept flashing up.
Next day it was fine never saw it again

The ones that really annoy are the lorries that pull out in front of you in lane 2 and then it turns out they are on the brakes constantly because of fear of an overspeed.
