KNOW THE LAW HAS CHANGED AS OF THE FIRST OF JAN .I DON’T NORMALY WORK SAT/SUN BUT DO THESE 2 DAYS COUNT TOWARDS YOUR 28 DAY TOTAL AS I NORMALLY CARRY 4 WEEKS OF I/E MONDAY TO FRIDAY AND THE PRESENT WEEK I AM ON IS THIS CORRECT.

It is the current day plus the previous 28 calendar days so the Saturdays and Sundays you don’t work are part of the 28 days. If it was 28 working days then for some drivers who only drive part time it would be very difficult to return charts within the required period as 28 working days could cover several months. On Monday you will need the chart for that day and any charts used covering the period from, and including, the 10th of December.
That is what i thought as i have allways done it that way untill the question came up at work and i began to think i was wrong thanks for your help
