I’m currently driving a DAF NG XF.
I’ve had a new thing come up on my tacho display (see picture) that I don’t understand and would like some advice and/or help.
So some basics of this week’s hours.

67 hours weekend break (no payback hours)
Sunday 14.30 - 19.15 = 4 3/4 hours.
11 hour break
Monday 06.30 - 18.45 = 12 1/4 hours
11 hour break
Tuesday 06.00 - 18.45 = 12 3/4 hours

At 17.22 today (Tuesday) this popped up as a warning on tacho head.
I’ve taken all my legal breaks and had been driving for about 2 hours after a 45 minute break when this popped up.
I was within my 9 hours driving when I parked up tonight.

I’m also getting this on the trucks at my new place. No idea what it is lol.

just telling you youve been driving / other work for 9 hours 46 mins since the start of your shift. seems to be a 10 hour WTD warning, no actual infringement etc. I’ve noticed this type of tacho warns you about your 6 hour working time break also.

There is a Working time directive WTD/RT
That you can only work 10 hours on a night shift. You can opt out of it, but the tacho wouldn’t know that.
