Tacho Fault?

I have a brand new MAN TGX (as I’ve mentioned once or twice already :unamused: ) but when I get above 40mph (ish) the red light on the speedo comes on.
Am I to presume this is a fault?

I think it can be set to whatever you want, it’s just a warning light i believe but someone will give you more info no doubt.

No.

I hope this helps.

sounds like the speed warning light, usualy alterable via the vehicles computer menu(if thats the right word for it) not familiar with man tho so no further advice
i hope this is more helpful

My MAN 15-240 does it and so does all the rest in our fleet. So nowt to worry about.

Go into vehicle menu from the controls on the steering wheel (bottom button on the left hand side)
Tractor Vehicle>Settings>Warning Speed.

From that you can set it as you wish

I hope this isnt of help!

Balls!! Well that wasnt what I was going for.

I should also add that the above is useful on the older model but would have thought similar to the new un’s!
