We are all on digi card at work but a new transport manager as started and he is giving us all a tach envelope to put our start and finish times on and reg and name but all the info is on the card for 28 days ? so whats the point
he says its if you get stopped but if i do print out its all on there anyway
I know when you was on paper ones you had to keep them for 28 days but surely on a digi its all on there
We have the same, and we have to keep last 28 days worth as well. Like spending money lol
at the end of the day, its he who must be obeyed 
i personally wouldnt take any notice as you are already keeping records, its him who doesnt know the rules…digi records have to be kept, the card must be downloaded at least every 28 days, most companies do it on a weekly basis, some on a daily basis, and there is his proof of your records…ignore him ( at your peril though.
