Sent my card off on the 16th aug with that fault that they had and still not had it back, my 15th day was yesterday so I am now out of work.
Phoned the DVLA and they said it was sent out on Friday, has anyone else waited this long?
WHen mine went faulty I just called Swansea, they asked me some questions. Three days later it was delivered to my house. Job done.
5 days for mine back. 
It’s ok now panic over it’s just arrived by second class post 
so at least I’ve only lost one days pay

Technically wrong, but I would have carried on…with printouts.
We can all do our best to abide by the rules, but when ‘they’ take too long I don’t
think the rule book was intended for you to loose a days pay.
I’d put this infringment in the same category as going over 4.5 by 5 mins,i.e. “no worries mate”.
