Tables on the Dashboard

surely “half drawn curtains” are more of a hazard than a bit of timber on the dash■■?

Just put me right on this.
Is it the cab design that is the reason for the driver sitting so far back there is only room for half a bed,as even without curtains, drivers are almost out of sight.Perhaps the curtains are there to afford the driver complete anonymity if they are embarrassed at being seen driving a Skoda!

Waiting for incoming!

(I couldn’t resist) :sunglasses:

if nothing should be in the sweep of the wipers then every truck shoud fail as the dashboard in many trucks infiers with the sweep of the wipers

get a life and get over it if a drivers a table in there truck then i dont see a problem same goes for curtains

as for vosa may be they should be conentrating on put serious dangerous trucks off the roads and stop filling there treasure chests with silly litlle minor faults.

ill bet most drivers done for hours affences are only done for minutes over there hours but then that wouldnt make any figures look good or and headlines look good either .

yeah its now the tables that are attracting vosa,s attention my mate got stopped on the a1 and was told to remove it which he promtly did .after the complete check the vosa bod said i suppose youll put that back in down the road.my mate said no here you have it to put yer coffee on

so what about the police cars with the camera’s that hand down from the top and the radio mics that get clipped on the sun visors by some. and all the clip files in the dash.

do they get pulled by their colleagues for it?

And i was hoping to get pulled by the vosa car parked on the m25 friday night with his front fog lights on, even though it wasnt foggy. I wonder how he would have explained that one!!!

when i worked for Brits got pulled twice by vosa no mention of table
when i took truck for MOT the bloke at the test centre in Zeebrugge never mentioned it

ps they muffle the sound from the speakers
