Closed from 1600 Saturday til 2000 Sunday, otherwise 24/24.
Having said that, it always looks closed every time I drive down the N8 so perhaps they just haven’t updated their website for a while. I doubt they do the trade they once did, even Adinkerke is like a ghost town these days, you are more likely to see tumbleweed rolling down the road than a coach-load of coffin-dodgers from Yorkshire or south Wales looking for a bargain.

Were you on for Europa a few years back Harry?

Nah, but I’ve been driving up and down “the potato road” for 25 years

I was Suede when I lived in England, worked there for 10 years, finished in 2003. Who do you or did you work for ? Did you used to run up the corridor with us ?
I used to do potatoes when I was on for Romac, but I’ve also had a spell of loading at Langemark lately, at the ice cream factory.

Used to run up the corridor 3 nights a week pulling for MAT mate, forgot how many times i had to wait to get on the pumps @ Jabbeke because 2 or 3 of Europas motors were abandoned whilst the drivers were drinking that excuse for coffee !! Had 1400 Ltr capacity and filled up every trip, got a few Euros on the Total points card . . the mpg on those Eurotechs was awful
Would leave there and pass the same motors in the Esso at Gent west !!
Was a good craic back then, used to see regular firms fuelling up in Jab on that run.BOC Spalding, think they used to do M+S deliveries ? and a company from N Wales that ran the newspapers, cant remember their name
Happy days.

Yep happy days, I think the ones that stopped at Jabbeke were subbies, all us Erith boys always stopped at Drongen for the coffee and a chat with the BOC boys.
Was a good crack in those days, especially winding up the sprinter van courrier drivers.

Don’t you just love that N8. That road’s the Pride of West Flandres
They’ve been talking about a motorway from Veurne to Ieper for years.
Dropped in there yesterday evening for some baccy and cigs, there were half a dozen Brit trucks there stocking up.
