I know this is an old story from 2008 , so pre-tracker days , he was supposed to tip in Gibraltar , from Turkey , he ended up stuck near Skegness , in a bird sanctuary for an hour , local Twitchers got their lap top out to say that he was in the wrong Gibraltar , he put Gibraltar Street in to his sat nav .
How did he get past check in to get on the ferry , who paid his ferry ticket , if they check his paperwork , somebody would have noticed this blunder ? It would have been a TIR load .Customs ?
I am not perfect either , i once took a trailer from Southampton to Malaga ,it was the wrong trailer , another driver had took mine , and i had took his , and nobody noticed until i got a call from the office , the trailer numbers were only one digit out , so we just swapped over .
My first trip abroad , i threw away the CMR , you got paid on a clean CMR , so i had to wait longer for payment .
