Aviation is not exactly a booming business at the moment. Air freight may not have taken the same tumble as passenger traffic, but wouldnt those already in the sector be hanging in there? Don
t give up a steady job to jump in there, I would say.
Know they have a base In. Manchester. As well as other places they Support the aviation industry
I was tempted by a job advert.
But it is an agency.
Id not join them. As this pandemic not many flights are running. So can’t see there being many flights .so no work.
Iv e worked in the aviation industry in the past.
In better times there was as much work as you wanted on the summer. During winter hardly any work. Is all seasonal.
But saying that I’m near Manchester airport. Guess if you was near heathrow work all year round.
Guess if your out of work and looking be worth joining them along with others keep your options open.
Although I’m almost certain your need level d security certificate. And maybe need cbr check. As it’s all aviation and high on security

I don’t think aviation is exactly a “growth industry” at the moment. Given that the industry has laid off thousands of experienced workers over the last few months, why would they feel any need to take on newbies?
Freight are doing well.
No doubt many of us drive past the many smaller regional airports and have seen the huge number of aircraft belonging to the major airlines parked up. Norwich is one airport that comes to my mind with dozens of aircraft belonging to British Airways, several German, Spanish, and Scandinavian airlines parked on the taxiways.
Heathrow has shut terminals 3. And 4. For 12 months so.shows how bad it is. And.am.sure Manchester is only operating on 1 terminal.
And what planes are going can’t see th.carrying many passengers.
Or another way to look at it is more and.more are shopping online . And will be more often now…and it all has.to be delivered /comes from abroad
