See that black plastic 'loop ’ on the yellow line what’s that for then ■■? It’s not for 'stowing ’ the male end as it doesn’t fit in the hole
Some units don’t have a stowage place but have a hook . That’s what I’ve always thought
Normally at the other end of the suzie and like Nick says its to hang the loose end up, normally on some sort of hook
Unless there’s another on the other end, I’m guessing someone fitted the suzie the wrong way round 
the OP could slide it up to the other end so that he can hang the suzie on the hook on the A frame

When suzies arrive their just a coil of tubing so fitters don’t really care about what goes where they just slap male or female connecter to one end and slap the other end to the unit

Seeing as I have a stowage recipticle it’s surplus to requirements anyway 
At least I have learnt what it’s for … Just not needed on ‘my’ unit .
