Suzi

Problems with suzi cables, any good ideas for keeping them un tangled? New job, regular trailor swaps causing grease and tangle probs. Using bungi’s but useless. Already snapped airline after snag, Any ideas would be appreciated.

You can get them overstock things would stop tangling up to a certain extent.
When I done ferry trailers I found a few minutes untangling them and a bit of rag to wipe grease off was usually enough.

Try running your electrical suzis through the centre of the air suzis if you can .

Wouldn’t that cause chaffing ? It’s not legal to have any chaffing on an airline. See if there is any way to rise the airlines with a bungee to stop them dragging on the catwalk which is also not legal. I once got a severe repremand from a traffic cop in Nottingham because my lines were touching the catwalk.

I have to say I’ve never noticed any chaffing,in fact they seem to rub along quite nicely together

linehugga.com/index.html Here’s your answer

Going to order from www.linehugga.com thank you.

Your gonna spend 30 odd quid on that? Take it you own the truck?

Drive it all the time, will get companyrefund, only had 1 snagged line, but 1 too many, real hassle, ■■■■■■■ rain changing airline. lol

There be your problem! A traffic cop not vosa… They don’t know ■■■■ half the time, I have just done my Cpc and I know more about trucks and the law than most traffic cops lol

Most snagged or snapped airlines are done whilst skewing a trailer round, if the yard is so tight, then drop your suzies and use the shunt button, but in general a couple of £1 bungies from the car boot sale or local market will keep them from snagging.

As for the silly traffic cop I would have smeared fifth wheel grease on his car seats :smiling_imp:
