Any info on the job, hours, pay, conditions? I’ve got an interview next week, and yes, I know I can ask all of these things then, but I hardly think they will view the job through anything other than rose tinted spectacles, so was looking for a bit of ground truth.
What I know is that the pay used to be just over £9/h, and there is some premium for working overtimes.
Poor pay as for ADR type of work, no wonder they’ve been looking for drivers for about a year for Willenhall.
Equipment from what I’ve seen is of poor condition, and it is actually an Imperial Tankers contract , taken over by Suttons.
I enquired about the job about 8 months ago, but after hearing about the conditions on offer I didn’t bother applying.
I’ve heard Suttons closed one of their Northampton depots a few months ago, they offered the Imperial Tankers job to all the drivers that were being made redundant, offered to train them , but none of them took up the job.
