You have told me what you think … and ive tried to correct you… but you still believe all the rubbish you just made up in your head with no proof.
I know from working everyday that people are not used to seeing a young small (reasonably attractive …id give myself 6 /10) girl driving lorries.
You mihgt think its normal… but they dont. how can you rubbish something that i experience everyday?

yes i am a sensitive person… i admit that… i take things too personally.
but you are saying that you dont see the big deal… and thats because you are a lorry driver… and you know that its possible for someone like me to do it.
where as people that dont drive lorries… dont know.

i was explaining that most people think its something they cudnt do… when they could.
Its just anoying when im trying to do something positive and you accuse me of becoming a lorry driver to get attention. When i very innocently wanted to earn some more money and not be working in a bar where someone younger than me is telling me what to do. I just saw an opportunity for media attention nearly 2 years after starting lorry driving…and took it. I dont see anything terrible in that.

There must be some reason why you being so negative about it? When i have clearly given valid reasons for everything
But I have stated my point of view, I don’t see the need to go over it time and time again. I don’t believe that bringing that much media attention to the industry is purly a selfless act. At first you said it was to raise awareness, but now you are saying it is for the money - if that is the the real reason then why not let the sun run with a lie about where you like to have ■■■ ?

im not getting much money from media… but it could lead to something else.
Who knows who might be reading the paper? They could open the paper and say “wow we want her to work for us!”
Also I thought there must be some sort of way for me to make a business out of recruiting girls like me into lorry driving… i already have my ideas… and am getting them into motion. because i am the perfect advertisement for that.
I love lorry driving… but why not use what i have and get the most out of it?
I still live at home with parents and cant really see a way to buy my own place so i have to be enterprising to make sure i have a good life with a nice house in the country. I wont get that by worrying what you think of me tho will i ;o)

Plenty of others who make a living out of it and have a house and support a family on it - why not you?

I said i wanted to be a lorry driver because i wasnt happy in my current job… and when i heard that you could earn 30k a year… that encouraged me too!
I dont earn that much… i do agency work… and there are busy spells and dead spells.
Now that ive passed my class 1 im hoping that i wont have that dead period in january and feb…
I think most people might be able to scrape through on agency work in january and feb… but i have to be a bit more picky with the jobs i choose… because i cant do all of them.
I can unload and move pallets etc… thats fine… but there are a few jobs that i psysically cant do.
Because im special?!? haha
