Superdrug South Elmsall... HELP!

PASSED THE ASSESSMENT!!! f*cking reyt happy!

It wasn’t a bay reverse. That’s the shunters job at this depot. Reversed in the parking yard and did it in the first go but it wasn’t perfect so he told me to do it again 2 more times and i can’t even believe i did it without any struggle… but then again… it wasn’t a blind reverse. I didn’t cross the lines while shunting it in and that’s the main thing for when it’s time for a blind reverse.

I feel like a trucking god! everyone bow down please!

Thanks for the help and support guys. Apart from the negative guy.

Drove a 66 Merc today and a 69 DAF couple of days ago and i swear… it’s like comparing a new S Class to an old Micra. what a sh*t bag dafs are and full of electrical issues. A park sensor gets a fault and it triggers an engine malfunction some how.

Well done the confidence will build as you gain experience.don’t be shy to ask for advice cheers Ray

Please tell me this is a wind up!
If this is the standard of the new generation of professional truck driver that’s soiling his pants because he has to reverse onto a loading bay then COVID 19 is the least of our worries.

So I take it you were never a learner? You never had your first assessment etc? You just knew it all straight away and never asked any questions from more experienced guys?

I’m guessing the answer to the above is no.

I’d say the problem here isn’t the op asking the questions the problem is attitude of this kind of person who will happily sit and watch someone struggle and won’t lend a hand.

Thank’s bro

Thanks bud. Passed it.

In a different thread you paid £ 165 to a training school for 3 hours reversing. I don’t know how much it costs in the UK to get a licence but i know it’s not cheap. That’s the problem - Training schools are doing enough to get people through their test and that’s all but its not sufficient.
You could be out there the following day causing mayhem to nuns , kittens and fluffy bunnies.

Well done for getting through the assessment, this is where the real learning starts.

Well done heard u passed it. The yard is a bad layout and catches alot of drivers out. Even drivers thats been here years. Love to know what they told u about the job!.
