Super space cab/V8/420bhp

pure idiot harry, even had written along top of cab topline V8 470hp must have thought he looked the dogs bollards

I always think ā€œplonkerā€ when I see a truck with a straight six engine, but two Eminox stacks, if I was that sad I would at least have the sense to buy an aerosol tin of matt black paint and spray the inside of the dummy one at the top so it at least looked soot-stained rather than all shiny and brand new. :unamused:

harry i hope you’re not thinking of an infamous UK co. with a black T cab 470 :open_mouth: :open_mouth:
fancy having twin stacks on that

I used to think that about twin stacks on a daf/volvo six pot scania, but a V8 is a single turbo so they are all one output split into two.

Tinnellt transport from the North have a Topline 124/470. It has a \8/ 470 badge on each door

Thompsons tippers from dumbarton ran all there 112/113 units with 142/143 badges on, and i think Houstons (green) from glasgow had a 142 badged 112. But the badges were enough.

we’ve got one of these on order, its due for delivery next week…

…to use on the tesco contract

back on topic we’ve got a 4x8 twin steer tractor unit on order but because my boss liked different things from different truck makers he’s having a unit specially built and its officially known as a

ā€œXF V8 730hp EURO 6 TGA SUPER-SPACE XXXL LIMITED EDITION LONGLINE GLOBETROTTERā€

its a good job the cab is going to be long enough to fit that on - its going to have spot lights quad stacks, frilly curtains the works, look out for it on the road soon chaps. :grimacing: :grimacing:

peter carter from lincolnshire with the red scania’s was the same,he used to badge them all to look bigger than what they were.i went past one fully loaded up windy in my 470 scania his said on the badge 620     .cannot see the sense in it,i’d sooner have a 730 with a 480 badge on it.
