FRT free rolling tyre. A front steer is free rolling. I.e. there is drive though an axle. Bridgestone r168 is FRT but has two load and speed ratings 160k and 158l so can legally be used on a front steer. As long as it has the correct load and speed rating it will be ok. FRT only means it can’t be used on a driven axle.
I will add before someone goes off on one. Even though it is not illegal to use a FRT on a front steer it is going against what the manufacturers recommend so they will not accept and responsibility for any tyre damaged that may happen.
