These were wagons i drove for Glynn. The yellow one was a beast; would drive up the side of a house that one! Oh, does anyone know where Tony Williams is now? He drove a C reg F10 for Glynn. Others that were there when i was were Paul (Harty) Hart , Gwyn , Ian, Colin, Ray who had the 113,Zbyszek and Andrzej. Any of you guys still out there?

It most certainly did. Marked on the door as an F12 FS but no idea what that meant (anybody know??) . Glynn bought two of them, the only left hookers he ever had i think. They had both done a lot of miles. G26XPM and Andrzej’s G27XPM. They had turbo guages built into the centre console which the others didn’t. They also had trailer brakes on the steering column. Got conned at a loading point in Germany once. In the U.K, the guy at the factory insisted my load weighed ‘well over’ 30tons and used a few expletives. -the c.m.r said 22ish.It was going perfectly normally up the hills near Dresden (they’re steep) but,to be fair,on the other side of them it was like an exocet missile! (I always used to let them run anyway) Once you’ve left the loading place, it’s too late.

Very true…
My mate has just done a nice little trip from North Wales to the Repsol oil refinery in Puertollano south of Madrid with some kind of water pumps in the boxes on the trailer.
Once he got out there he then had a week on site with the pumps then back home with them.
I was hoping to post his dairy of the run this weekend as he took a load of pics, but sadly he only got back this morning
and hes shipping back out tonight on his way to a refinery in Ankara Turkey :frowning: wish i was going :frowning: so it
ll be a few weeks before i can post the dairy of the trips if anyones interested.
These pics are a few he sent me over the phone, if i get any more from him on the run to Turkey ill update them as i get them.
Thanks excellent pictures ,can,t wait to see the rest.
looks a tidy motor
lnf an ex redway bus…
sounds like a good job, does he have a part involved the pumps or does he just sit in the sun for a week.

I’m sure I’ve moved 1 of those ■■■■■■■■■■■ containers to Korinthos before they do some kind of filtration for whats left in the bottom of those huge fuel tanks you see at oil refineries don’t they? I left it @ Motor Oil Hellas as it was going to be used for around 3 months.
