Sunday Parking?

Heading up towards Widnes for tipping on Monday morning, can anyone tell me if Crewe truck stop or Skelmersdale are open on Sunday?

Crewe truckstop is open Sunday but the cafe is shut Sundays .
There are two Brewers Fayre pub/restaurants, one nextdoor and one a ten minutes walk turning right on the main road.

McDonalds 24 hours a short walk and town centre 20 minutes walk.
Security have phone numbers for takeaways delivered to your truck .
Skelmersdale open Sundays but cafe shut, no other places to eat nearby.

Or Formula truckstop Bridges road Ellesmere Port, cafe shut Sundays but the vending machine has decent meals to microwave in the drivers kitchen.
Big leather seats that recline and big screen tv/ satellite .

Or Lymm, 24 hour McDonalds, Costa, and restaurant , chicken and steaks, bar.

Cheers Toby, great help mate.

Depending which way you are coming from and driving hours, there is The New Hollies off the M6 at Cannock, north Birmingham.
Cafe open 24hours, bar, good showers.

Truckers Rest is half a mile past the Hollies towards Cannock, parking open, cafe shut Sundays, dusty parking area .

Good one Toby, the New Hollies completely slipped my mind. Thanks mate.

Not sure if Michelle works on a Sunday at the Hollies, but you can not miss her, hour glass figure, but will chuck your dinner in the bin if she calls out the food order and you ignore it, tread with care mate .
Good real ale at the Hollies on the tap and ice cold, for Sunday , you will be surprised how busy it is, foreigners on rest breaks, Irish trucks on stop over and trailer swaps and quite a few UK trucks roll in for breaks and daily rest .
Lot of locals stop there .

Is that the old ‘Last Orders’ pub on the corner.
I’ve watched a few football matches in there while parked at Crewe…and it’s a good pint.

Yes,that’s the one.

Yeh I just go in for the football, and absolutely not to see that barmaid with the 38 double d.s.

Naturally
