Which I am, …evident by how popular I am on here.
Turning left into a junction in a village earlier, an old guy came nearly to end of side road I was turning in, on his bike,.and stopped.
I stopped and said ‘C’ mon mate I’ll wait for you’’ he set back off and went down like a bag of ■■■■.
I jumped out of cab blocking the road,.and tried to help him up, he was a big bloke and it wasn’t easy to pull him up, he fell back twice,.and told me he’d just had a new hip fitted.
I’ve got a dodgy left arm myself (tendons) so it was a struggle.
I eventually got him to his feet, using my good arm, then picked his bike up.and got him on his way.
Thing is my right arm is worse now than my bad arm I must have pulled that tendon also…
How bad is it you ask ?
I was going to walk down town where I’m parked for a pint, but because of pain CBA. so.I’m.sat in cab like a ■■■■ loner …that’s how bad.
So I’m sat here suffering and bored ■■■■ stiff but nobody cares.
Just thought I’d share it being the terminal attention seeker that I am.
I may even try and wind Frangers up on his Brexit,.Covid, or politics threads to relieve the boredom.
I’m suffering a bit too, mostly from embarrassment.
Grabbed a trolley and was mincing across the soaking wet car park pushing said trolley into the supermarket earlier on, all of sudden i’m slipping sideways me left foot having lost all grip and splat landed flat on me left side, luckily bounced off a car without damaging it.
Saw the culprit, yes the music hall bloody banana skin some arse had dropped on the ground which i didn’t see
oddly enough its that right knee that aches a bit not the left one with the graze.
Well done for still being a knight of the road Robroy, Wednesday i witnessed some of the most ignorant selfish incompetent bullying stupid driving in lorries it’s been my misfortune to see, no surprise every single useless attendent behind the wheel of the offendig vehicles was sporting a hivis , you’ve gone some way to restoring my faith , now tomorrow night make up for your night of loneliness and sink a pint or two
rob I know you are making light of it ,I googled and it said you must rest and put cold ice pack on …just depends how bad strain was,ho take an asprin tablet and good nights rest …good night

Just noticed your post now…thanks for that mate.
I did put an ice cold can of Stella on it for half an hour before I drank it.
Took a couple of Ibuprofen and had a decent kip.
Got an x ray app on my ‘bad arm’ on Mon, so I’ll see if I can blag another on the other arm.
Ain’t quite as painful today, but I’ll live.
I’ll keep everybody informed as I know you are all worried sick.

no offence taken, it’ll be a sad day indeed when we can’t take the ■■■■ out of one another.
You must be doing pretty well for yourself man rules (do the females in your life agree you rule by the way , even my bloody spaniel takes no notice of anything i say ) two bottles of red in one sitting, once again i’m in the wrong game, no change there then.
