My condolences.

I was asked if I wanted to use a day’s leave today as I had so much left and they’re trying not to give the agency guys too many days off, as work is rapidly increasing and they want them to stick around.

I shall raise a glass of whisky and a slice of pizza in commiseration.

Three of ours are en route to Livingston. Being of an err East European persuasion you’d think that snow would present no problem, oh no Siree, one is parked in a ditch, one other is not contactable and the third one (according to his forward facing camera) was trying to reverse out of a cul de sac in a housing estate! Unsuccessfully I might add.

And you keep on employing them, bigger fools you.

I’m not the boss ^^ I employ nobody.

Punchy Dan:
Why did you not work the max until 18:00 ,asking for a friend

Bloody Victorian slave driver.

Because in…

The race to the bottom, Logisticssuperpersonal (your friendly local agency) ‘we don’t care because we know you don’t care either’ who have slashed the ■■■■ out of the rate and got the contract by de-valuing the whole deal (at least the other lot didn’t get the contract) will only ever send Tomaz, Bilbi and Dave from the Rose and Crown (who’s actually retired but likes to keep his hand in but can’t do a split couple).

These contracts which are worth a great deal of money are arranged by Vicky and Chardonnay who have never seen an artic in their life (that includes the one’s 6 inches off her bumper on the M4 because she’s texting in the company Pug 306). It’ll come down to price and price alone. You can bet yer bottom dollar that most of these contracts are won in hotel suites over the weekend doing business.

By the way, shouldn’t it be Tomasz?

Our recovery division went to one about a month ago where a guy had gone best part of a mile down a ■■■■■■ little farm track in the woods,it was bad enough that he wouldn’t take his normal wrecker down there and I went out to assist with our 6x6 Foden, it took us about 3 hours to get the kolega back to tarmac. This week I happened to be in the yard when our recovery supremo got a call to the same truck stuck somewhere else, it makes me wonder how this sort of thing happens so often and how it is “cost efficient “ to employ them because I know what recovery bills are like and they ain’t cheap
