I’ve searched the forum and came up with millions of posts to go through so just ask again if anyone knows of any agencies or employers that hire newly qualified drivers around south London or north Kent.I passed class 1 in November and can’t win the 2yrs experience marathon. have nice weekend everyone.
you will have to go with a 7.5 or a class 2 to get on the ladder…Every employer prefers even a little experience, not necessary in class 1 but commercial experience.
Oh maybe I didn’t mention but I have more than 1 year experience on class 2, but still not helping.thanks for reply
Have you tried looking for shunter jobs, several rdcs in that area…
Is the nightmare job a driving one? If so, are you being realistic in your expectations as a new driver?
Just keep trying, smaller firms are more likely to give you a chance. Good luck.

Hey, the best way is knock to doors. I went to 5 companies 2 offered a job. New class 1 pass with 0 experience.

Its a game of chance mate. The more doors you knock on,the more chance you have.
The good thing is; once you get that chance and you start getting artic experience,after 12 months you should never look back.
Lots of employers will take you on with a years CE under your belt. Don’t give up. Unless you are playing twister with a fat bird.
