Glad I’m at a safe distance lol

Same old - wind or no wind - double decker up to Brum and back.

Went out last night up to Penrith in a double decker. Had to take scenic route along the M62 and up the M6. The most dodgy part wasn’t Windy Hill nor Shap where you’d expect but around Leeds on the M1 on the way back. Came about as close as being blown over as I ever want to be. Where the M1 splits at the start of the M621 I got blown a full lane and a half across the motorway. I reckon if I’d have tried to stay in the lane where I was I’d have been on my side.

I have braved for single pay so double time is worth a little wind, rain, sleet and trying to snow

Its your dumbass attitude that has led to the widespread practice of sending out trucks in conditions they shouldn’t be out in and putting undue pressure on drivers to go out to get stuck in snow, slide off the road or be one of dozens in a day getting put on their side.

There’s nothing big or clever about doing it and the sensible stay at home. You and those like you are just backwards thinking knuckle draggers.

Oh dear.

Contraflow mate you’ve done it again :sunglasses:
You remind me of those guys off ‘‘New Tricks’’ that open up long forgotten old cases and reinvestigate them, your talents are wasted driving.
I’m gonna watch what the hell I say on here now, in case you dig it up and it bites me on the arse

As soon as I read Conor’s dramatic story about last night, I knew I wouldn’t have to go too far back to find a massive contradiction.

Busted.

Contraflow, your my hero :sunglasses: :sunglasses: :sunglasses:

Will we get “humble pie”,if so fair play,or an attempt to reconcile the two posts? I wait with interest.
Regards. John.

A tenner on the latter. I can see the excuse riding in a mile off, on a horse.

ÂŁ10 down!
