What’s the difference between a streamline R series and a standard one?
Probably just a few differently shaped bits of plastic on the corners etc!
Probably about £30,000…
Taken from scania website,
"The Scania Streamline legacy dates back to 1991 and represents a history of tradition and innovation working shoulder to shoulder. Through our efforts to improve every detail possible, Scania signatures like exceptional fuel economy, uptime, performance and driver comfort are being perfected to unparalleled standards.
The new Scania Streamline takes fuel economy to unmatched levels by refined aerodynamics and the improved Scania Opticruise performance modes. And with superior engine efficiency, featuring the widest range of Euro 6 engine solutions available – including the legendary Scania V8 – we keep you in the lead"
Is it not the point of the streamline to be aerodynamically efficient in regards to body shape, airflow etc ?
Why would you then ruin it then by putting a row of spotlights on the front?
Does that not defeat the object of all the design?

you need to work harder mate
Nice to see the fog lights work…the only time they’ll be turned off now is when the ignition is killed! And do those little wings on the corner deflectors keep the front down, like the MotoGP Ducatis, what with all that power available!!

Well the light bar is there for a reason mainly for the beacons to be on there to keep the height down of the unit for going under hoppers and things like that, but that’s my gaffers worry not mine or anybody elses
Virtually all our Scania’s are Streamline models. Wind deflectors either side of the grill have gone, and the smoked sun visor is mounted differently. That’s about it, lol.
Just as ■■■■ as they have always been
