Rabi-Ron:
This was not down to me but the driver did drive it back to the depot in Wakefild. :unamused:

That’ll buff out!

can you sort the pics out please?

In that 1st photo of Simpsons, is that Harrogate Spa water in the trl, they used to have that contract i believe ? I live not far from the bottling plant, and know that one evening, some poor driver “lost” his trl off in the entrance gate !

Yes and no…it was water but the damage was done at the depot at Ackworth moor.

I wish I could find a copy of the picture, but, there’s a newspaper article on the office wall at Salzgitter AG in Germany showing an oldish MAN artic that’s braked hard somewhere near Oberhausen, and there’s an almighty great big steel ‘I’ section that’s come through the front of the trailer and is sticking out of the front grille of the MAN,by about five feet!

I bet the driver had a trouser accident!

One of our driver’s mentioned a couple of weeks ago that,as from 1st Jan 2009,in Germany ‘EVERYTHING’ will have to be secured in the trailer with straps,or whatever approved security system.

Over to you Brit Pete…
