The German police use a formula for amount of straps required
My load of empty cages came out at 73 straps… not only did I have to purchase the extra straps there was a 400 euro fine as well
I can’t help feeling that the Sausage-eating Squareheads are going a bit OTT about this.

With the greatest respect, I find that very hard to believe even though Mr Monk is correct about the German ■■■■ attitude to load securing.

No, that’s never been mentioned because nobody on a trucking forum would even consider the fact that loads need restraining.

Indeed, because they’re not really just a flat bed with built in weather protection.
