Strange sales techniques

A customer on his way to see us today popped into a well known local supermarket and got more than he bargained for.

He was approached in the car park by a man who asked him " you’re training with Chevron Training aren’t you- why don’t you come to us we’re CHEAPER THAN THEM". :open_mouth: :open_mouth:
Our customer was gobsmacked, not to mention a little freaked out, when the man then said he was from another local training company.

After I’d finished laughing when he told me this I thought about a couple of things.

  1. how desperate for work must they be?
  2. does this mean their trainer is concentrating more on the trainees in our vehicles as we pass, than he is on his own trainee?
  3. why have I wasted money on advertising when I could just have stood in Sainsbury’s car park?

Still smiling about it now
