I have attached a pic of a recent print out on my tacho. There is a * beside on of the breaks. Any idea why this is there?

It’s perhaps where you have cleared your 45 minutes break?
It’s a bit pointless now but it’s dates back to the old regs when you could have 3 separate breaks of 1 hour and that would go towards a split daily rest, the asterisk is just pointing out you’ve had at least an hour break. The main section of rest had to be 8 hrs I think as opposed to 9 hrs as it is now.
