Strange building on Dyce road

Does anybody know what that house was on the Dyce road heading towards Turrif, it looks like a house with like an old railway line heading on to the roof, it’s hard to describe but anybody who has seen it will know the one that I mean.

If your talking about the building on the left as you head north after you go under the old rail bridge then its a old water pumping station.

Yeh that sounds like the one mate, do you know how long it’s been derelict, looks like it would make a unique house for somebody with eccentric tastes.

Dont know much about it, just what a local told me a few years back. If I remember right he said it was built to resemble a house so that it would blend into the area . Scotstrucker on here would be the man to ask he comes from that area.

thats the old parkhill water pumping station, this would be it maps.google.co.uk/maps?hl=en&ll … .9,2,5.42

what a lovely building, it needs some tlc and would make a great house.
