So there I am driving along the Mass turnpike today listening to Steve Wright in the afternoon and the traffic reports were shocking to say the least. I think it would have been better to give out the roads without problems caused by rain and fooding 
You certainly seem to have had some crappy storms over there. 
We had almost a week of sun, you’ve got to expect that to be followed by gales and torrential rain in the UK
Yes was howling a gale in Cornwall last night and it’s not much better today although these things are all relative and we have very moderate weather in the UK compared to a lot of places, including the USA where tornadoes, floods and hurricanes are fairly commonplace.
