Operators are obliged to keep their tachos and other records for a specified minimum length of time.
Now that we are all meant to be digital, how do you store your records?
Hard copies on paper
on discs
in the computer
memory stick
media
tacho analysis company

The driver card stores at least 28 days.

You must download your driver card with the operator and then they have a copy which they can then store for the 12 months required.

Unless you’re an operator it isn’t your problem how they’re stored as long as you’ve downloaded your card.
