Think the name on the trailer says it all, it stopped alright lol

does what it says on the tin

That’s gonna cost

He had been parked up in the yard at the port prob having split break. Some clown probably undid the dog clip and pulled the lever while he was asleep. Do you always make a habit of checking after you have been parked up? His checks obviously weren’t that thorough! Didn’t take VOSA (or what ever they are called this week !) long to get there

What’s caused the trailer to go all lob sided? When mine come off the 5th wheel (fault with the locking mechanism) it just fell straight to the floor. Could it be overloaded in the front end?

May be one leg is in the Tarmac or a man hole .

Could it have buckled or snapped ?

i check mine every time…even when i’m in a stores locked yard, after a break, etc. dosen’t take many seconds to look underneath your trailer.

I can’t see a pin on the trailer, I hope for his sake it’s a faulty pin.

Faulty pin or faulty fifth wheel I’d say. If somebody had pulled his fifth wheel handle for a prank then the truck would never has got as far as the dock entrance, particularly as the trailer is obviously heavily loaded.

The police hinted that it may have been damaged/tampered with on the crossing.

Nah mate it was proven when they got it into the garage to investigate it as I had put the dog clip in and did the tug test before I set of. Another driver saw me do it and told them.
It turns out they was something up with the jaws on the fith wheel and they weren’t locking in correctly. The workshop lads and transport manager said it was not my fault.

Thats a first, usually it’s the drivers fault isn’t it:lol:
