Stop moaning it's only cosmetic [Merged]

What’s the chances someone was manoeuvring round a stationary vehicle, badly parked of course which caused a building wall to jump out n hit the truck unexpectedly? Kinda thing could happen to anyone?

Night-and-day:
I’d be more embarrassed about driving a truck with stobart plastered all over it rather than worrying about a few dents on it. Petrol and a match would be the best way forward

So was the last driver embarrassed by driving a truck plastered with stobart on they had to drive with curtains shut thats how the damage happened

I thought stobart set the standard for appearance of trucks on our roads
One was delivering to my local Tesco Express last week, 66plate and it looked shocking different panels on it trims missing, scraped etc…

i can see this picture coming into play more and more in the near future.we seem to be entering full on drivvle mode again… :open_mouth:

Yes well the thing is some of us take a pride in things , my Mrs did this to her wheel , she got a bollocking and I got the wherl refurbished , I didnt say it’s only bloody cosmetic
I guess looking at the state of most people’s wheels there of the same opinion , it’s just a wheel , as long as it still goes round , so what if it looks a mess
Get the bloody thing repaired

Dozy why did you go back to stobarts? Or did you never leave? I thought you wanted to get away from all this stress!

I left , went trunking , chucked dummy out of pram, blamed it on boredom but I thought I’ll do the job as I want , ,not as mate wanted , did 2 other jobs , dummy out of prams again , went agency ( ad hoc ) , didn’t get on with that , so got offered agency full time on concrete work ( stobarts ) own truck , won’t be used unless desperate , then new one which won’t be used unless you on holiday , now it’s just gone back to where it was ,6 weeks off and first day back I’m talking to myself again , I don’t know what I’ll do , my heads exploding , I try so hard to let things go over my head but I’ll be back walking round the Lorry park at 2 am as I won’t be able to sleep .
they say never go back , to right ,

Ah fair enough then. Plenty of London I’m guessing with concrete work. I’d be annoyed as well if they aren’t going to fix it. I know it’s cosmetic and if they don’t want to do it then that’s up to them, but I know what you mean. I like mine perfect all the time.

You have been off 6 weeks, most likely its been driven by a multitude of drivers in that time considering Stobarts run 24/7 operation, did you expect to find it the same as when you left it.
Most likely been treated as being a "spare motor"in which case nobody will be to concerned about it.
The thought of it being double shifted 7 days a week by a different Agency driver each shift

Dozy 1, the gift that keeps on giving.

Your missus must be some mug. If I gave my wife a bollocking for damaging her wheel, I’d be sleeping on the sofa and cooking my own dinner for the forseeable. Or is that what you’re doing?

When we still had a car with stupid sized wheels on, as above, my mrs scraped one so i teased her rotten about it (great relationship, all in jest), so what did i do managed to do the whole face edge of the driver’s side wheel with her sitting beside me ■■■■■■ hersen

Get rid of toy car, get proper car with AWD and some rubber between the wheel and road, result no bloody damage and she can bump up and down kerbs as much as she likes, equals harmony and a return to smooth driving instead of the bone shake :sunglasses:

Damage on the front looks like it was caused by road kill tbh,the panel that’s damaged is set back from the bumper so he couldn’t of hit a post otherwise the bumper would also be damaged as would the number plate.
Even flappy birds are mugging you off dozy
