On a Stoneridge tacho can you view the summary part of the information that’s on a print out? When I say summary I mean the part at the bottom where it tells you total drive time, total work time, total POA, and total breaks on a given day. Can you view that on the screen without having to waste print roll just to see that??
If its a new one, press OK scroll down 3 times to “info” press OK again and that will have almost everything you asked for.
Thanks. When you say new, how new? It’s in a 2013 scania
Think mines a stoneridge, go onto as if your going to do a printout and it will show two symbols once you’ve selected the date, think the top is a triangle and the bottom symbol is a square (but could be wrong), select the lower symbol and it will show you a printout on the screen, then just scroll through all the crap until you get to the summary

Only one way to find out. Give it a go! You can’t break anything…
PS I’m sure 2013 is new enough.

Exactly so. But my way you don’t get RSI of your poking digit

Like changing the time on older Siemens units. New Siemens is by far the best tacho. See driving time on the move, fast number scrolling, the wonderful ?.

Haha that’s what I’m bothered about. Messing about it with blindly then pressing something I shouldn’t and recording myself an infringement! Knowing my luck I would
You and every other new driver, we’ve all been there. Next time you are waiting on a forkie or some paperwork, and not on a break, have a fiddle… and no I don’t mean your tallywhacker…
Scroll through all the menus and see what they do. Most of it is quite intuitive, you’ll be surprised how much information is at your fingertips. A tachograph is a tool, there to help you be able to follow the regs, the more you know about it, the more useful that tool can be.
It is not the big, bad, spectre of ghoulishness, that hands out fines and infringements, that some “drivers” would have you believe!
