How does the over speed warnings work with these?
On other trucks there’s audio warnings before it gets to 1 min so you can avoid an infringement
When the symbol appears on the dash/tacho with the MAN/Stoneridge is that the 30 second warning?

Unless your company run some analysis system to do with your driving style for a bonus scheme i would never worry about the ‘infringement’.
The Stoneridge gives you an “overspeed warning” message after 30 seconds, which should display the tacho warning light on the dashboard.
The “Overspeeding” message is displayed after 60 seconds which is when it is recorded on the card as an overspeeding event.

Never heard one in any of the 40+ lorries we have. What does it sound like?
‘Overspeeding’ is the first message/warning I get with the MAN, I thought it seemed more than 30 seconds but not sure what speed you have to go over to trigger the overspeed so not sure.
The audio warning was on a Renault, first it flashes on dash, then 2 beeps, then 3 beeps, think the 3 beeps is at 45 seconds
My company does monitor overspeeding, even if you only let it run on to the 1st warning they monitor the max speed you let it go to!
1 min gives you an infringement.
I too have never heard an audible warning on any motor/tacho combination I’ve ever driven.
Renault Premium is the only one I am aware of that gives an audio warning before the overspeed event is logged.
My Actros does it. It beeps and gives you a warning message on the dash. If you don’t bring your speed down within a certain amount of time, it will beep again and give you another warning message and the tacho starts flashing overspeed.

“YOUR A VERY VERY NAUGHTY BOY, SLOW DOWN, THINK OF THE CHILDREN”
Hmm, just tested this. Definitely no warning on dash before the overspeeding message after 60 secs.

This is what my Premium does.

I’m guessing it’s the dashboard bleeping to indicate a warning message has appeared, some trucks do that for every orange or red warning that comes up.
