Stonebridge connekt tacho

Got new courtesy truck while mine has some work.done to it

It Has a stonebridge connekt tacho.
Is this one of the new wireless ones?
As when inserted card it asked some stupid question about allowing access or something like that can’t rember exact words.

Also when i stop it’s always asking end current work period now. And always defaults to break when stopped.
Why do they seem to default to break and why’s it asking if I have finished my shift.
Can see this doing my head it soon
And does anybody know if can change the display as can’t read the display properly is that dark.

and gives drivers warming when near driving time or when a rest is due etc and you can save a company am average 45 mins or in other words driver can do am extra 45 using there technology ie giving warning forcing you to go to the death instead of stopping earlier.

Also someware mentioned need a digital card although an old card works fine

That’s nothing new though, it came with the new (last generation new, before this latest new generation) and its all to to with how time is actually calculated chamgjng from a minute with any driving in, no matter how short, beingbconnted as one minute of driving to a minute being counted as whatever the predominate mode is - ie 29 seconds driving, 31 seconds other work makes that minute count as other work.

It’s more niticaebake on stop/start traffic type journeys.

You should be able to change it so it doesn’t change the mode by inserting the company card.
