Got a crime ref number. DO I need to do anything other than carry this incase anyone asks (employers already informed about the loss of tachos).

I would write to VOSA, or get your employer to do it, and inform them of the details, a sort of pre emptive strike in case you get pulled in the next couple of weeks and won’t be able to produce the required charts. Keep a copy of the letter and carry it with you.
Was it charts covering the last 28 days or 28 charts? One shouldn’t be a problem, one could be.
