Looking for heads up on what their assessements consist of and if it’s auto or manual trucks used.How long does the drive take and what’s covered.

When I went for the containers in widnes it was a case of, put your tacho card in, do your walk round checks. Quick ride round in a scania with trailer. Drive safe and you should be fine
Might even get snapped up by one of the spotters
Depends were the assessment is for what trucks you use. Some of the older (2012) trucks are manual. The rest are auto’s.
Basic stuff really. drive, reverse, checks etc.
I had an assessment drive for the transporters and it was a beat up old manual truck and the drive lasted about 30 minutes and I didn’t even need to engage reverse gear, oh and the normal checks before hand of course.
