We have queried the uniform ( shirt more than anything ) ,and there looking at that ,with a change for a polo shirt ,but due to the extra manufacturing costs we possibly would have to contribute 50% of the costs of them ,talking of £30 per shirt ,so £15 per employee,but maybe take it out wage ,£5 a week .
Trousers ,shoes ,jackets are fine in my opinion
Since when did an employee have to contribute to the cost of their own uniform? And £30 for a polo shirt? They’re having a laugh!
I guess it’s because shirt is part of the normal uniform package ,and we’re asking for something different ,just ordered 3 pairs of extra trousers at no extra cost as part of normal uniform package .
£30 seems cheap compared to what my Mrs pays for a top when she goes shopping ,at times I wonder if she’s bought the whole shop
i applied for a stobarts job and was asked to go for a medical which i did,i got a phone call telling me that i would not be offered the job because of a medical problem,i asked what the problem was and the recruiter said that i was curcumcised so i asked why that was a problem…he said that to work for stobarts you have to be a complete p***k

If your a tramper do they issue u 5 shirts n trousers or are you expected to buy your own or wear the same all week

it’s not funny greggo , were not used to this mud lark , it’s everywhere , even my polished tanks have got mud on them , spent 2 hrs polishing them the other nigh , blacked the tyres , pleased as punch , looked spot on , then they sent me to a building site in littlehampton, I could of cried when I looked at my truck when I came out , it was plastered , it’s so bloody disheartening , I’m at my wits end with the mud , they always want to tip you in the muddiest part of the site , fill sorry for not just me but Heidi may , she doesn’t deserve this , only done 40k and a few months old bloody nightmare
