Agreed. He def seemed to have more savvy about him.

Oh well. Just goes to show. The office bods don’t always see the best in people. :frowning:

I almost spat my coffee out when I saw that bit

Poor old Tim had a stressful day. 3 jobs in one shift. Don’t know how he managed. Annan to Carlisle. Tip and reload then drive a hole twenty miles to tip and be confronted by a cherry picker■■? If he started and finished in Carlisle depot he probably drove 80 miles that day. Keep em lit Timmy, the middle east needs a few like you. Almost as stressful as crick to hams hall that run. We salute you sir

I think that trolly weighed more that him.

Tuned in tonight first time since first series, it hasn’t got any better! But just a note for all these bods like Bewick who always say Stobarts are knocking the arse out of the rates, I have just had a quick look on their web site and they’re looking to employ 2 gardeners at Avely who report to the head gardener…3 Gardeners for 1 site and he’s supposedly doing the job for nowt!!! Not saying there the best, worst or whatever but they are definately captivating the public, which in turn I would imagine get them possibly more business? You’d think companies would be queing up to get there trailers on the back for the free advertising this program brings in. Just a thought.

i found it really disturbing,to sit all them kids in a hall and tell them one by one if theyd got the job or not ,just for a bit of pr on t,v,they should of had the decency to talk to them privately on there own, explaining why theyd not got on the apprentiship, that lad with the baby, looked nearly in tears, just wanted to get in his car and zb off,and they wanted to interview him for the cameras :imp: :imp: :imp: :imp: .
didnt seem to give a zb about the young kids feelings, just intrested in making a bit of t.v drama :unamused: :unamused: :imp: :imp:

I heard someone say it was a job for life tonight.

That must be part of the initiation ceremony

I was stuck in the pub but I arrived just in time to see the end, and saved the day.

They probably need 3 gardeners to spread all the manure they generate, and that is without the crap from the polo ponies

So much for Stobarts and their modern kit; The chipliner had a manual sheeting system…and what was the fuss about the compost blowing about? Worried about getting his lorry dirty ffs… :unamused:

You’ve probrably been into one of those green waste sites, I have when I did a bit on the skips. The rotting slurry on the ground gets onto the truck and the stench follows you for days, my boots used to live outside for a few days after a visit to Growing Beds. Stopped the local cats coming into the garden.
A little bit of compost dust on his dash should be the least of his worries.

Yep and occasionally have to climb on the stuff to trim the load as our aggregate bodies aren’t quite deep enough. He was stressing about the tree roots, I get them put on first and muck on top to hide them as inert tips don’t accept them  Just say you didn’t see it go in…

Lol at the kid at tesco failing to push what loooked like a light cage oh wait no ill pull it instead.

even i never had bother gettting those bloody cages over the lip on the ramps and im as weak as {zb} well not as week as stobarts latest recruits…lol

I don’t understand why anyone involved in the truck game watches it we all know it’s a complete joke.

kr79:
it’s a complete joke.

I think you’ve answerd your own question there.

Although I must admit I turned over when Timmy was on about his stationary wagon being blown over due to high winds hitting his sheet.
I was terified I was going to witness a disaster so I turned over and found a rather good episode of Wheeler Dealers doing a Volvo P1800

Quinny:
Buy a raffle ticket, and win a ride in a Stobart truck. :open_mouth: What a frikkin moneymaker.

I would rather set fire to my own testicles with hot oil.

Ken.

id pay £24 to see that, better than there cushions, lol
